Join Kerem Shalom members Nancy Kaplan and George Peabody as we welcome Shabbat with prayer, focused contemplation, reflection, and music.
Prayers can help us hold our hearts honestly and lovingly during challenging times, and they can provide divine inspiration for both stillness and action. We’ll refresh and renew our souls as we join in prayer songs and melodies drawn from traditional, contemporary, and eclectic Jewish sources, including some original settings for prayer.
You are welcome and encouraged to sing and pray aloud along with the words in Kerem Shalom’s siddur, Shir HaLev, and the song sheets provided, or to pray whatever’s in your heart. Your presence will lift us all with more light, ruach (spirit), and joy.
All are invited to stay for the Oneg (“joy”) to share in sweet refreshments and conversation with new and old friends.
