We would love to welcome you to our community!

Kerem Shalom is a warm, robust, diverse, inclusive community. We welcome you to join us for services, events, and educational programs!

At Kerem Shalom, you will find a community whose members actively explore their spirituality, engage in social action and learning from talented educators, and create strong connections with each other. Our social gatherings and celebrations allow us to connect through mutual interests and to experience the joy of Jewish celebration together. In our observance of lifecycle events, we are a place where people come together as a community of mutual sharing and support in times of both great joy and deep sorrow.

Family Education & Hebrew School

We encourage families with preschoolers to enroll in our monthly holiday preschool program and to attend Tot Shabbats, which provide a family-centered approach to Judaism. Our Hebrew School meets once per week, providing a meaningful path for youth as they prepare for their b’nai mitzvah. Education programs support families along the way.

Services & Programming

Services, which are open to all and held on most Friday evenings are intellectually accessible pathways that are consistent with Jewish traditions and rituals. Our events and programs provide opportunities for individuals to explore a variety of interests, engage in a mix of activities, and learn from experts on a wide range of topics. See our calendar for information on services, programs, and events.

Join Us!

While anyone is welcome to attend our services, events, and programs, we hope that you choose to become an official “member” of the Kerem Shalom community. As a member, your presence and your dues will help us build and sustain our community, by helping support the staff, programs, and physical building needed to provide our rich array of offerings.

Our current members include residents of approximately 40 cities and towns including Acton, Arlington, Bedford, Boston, Boxborough, Cambridge, Carlisle, Concord, Groton, Harvard, Leominster, Lexington, Lincoln, Littleton, Maynard, Sudbury, Waltham, and Westford.
