Join us to celebrate the start of Sukkot. Weather permitting, you can enjoy the post-service oneg in the Sukkah, which will have been assembled but not yet decorated.
Sukkah Decorating & Brunch

Join us as we come together as a community to help decorate the Sukkah. Members and guests of all ages are welcome. To make sure we have enough bagels, please register by Thursday, September 24.

Hebrew School “Pizza in the Hut”

Weather permitting, we will have our monthly school pizza dinner in the Sukkah after the first day of Hebrew School. Look for an RSVP form in your school emails.
Simchat Torah
Friday, October 2
We will celebrate Simchat Torah (“Joy of Torah”), when we complete the annual cycle of reading the Torah with:
Tot Shabbat & Simchat Torah Dance Party
5:45-6:15 pm
Littles and their grownups are warmly invited to join Cantorial Soloist Molly Bajgot and Rabbi Darby for an interactive Tot Shabbat service and dinner. We’ll be celebrating both Shabbat and Simchat Torah: a joyful holiday where we sing, dance, and celebrate the incredible gift of Torah!
We’ll gather on the quilt for songs and prayers, and then spend some time doing a special dance with our plush Torahs. Our service will be followed by a Community Dinner at 6:15 pm and a Simchat Torah celebration from 7-8 pm (See below). All young families are warmly welcome to join us! (Note: there will be more music and dancing, as well as arts & crafts!)
Come sing, move, celebrate, and share the magic of Shabbat and Torah with friends old and new!

Singing and Dancing
7-8 pm
At the end the High Holidays comes a joyful celebration of our sacred text, Simchat Torah! We celebrate with song, dance, and learning.
Join us for a festive evening to celebrate Shabbat and Simchat Torah. Our evening features Yiddish dancing led by Yiddishist Judy Bressler and music by KS Klezmer players! All ages are encouraged to participate in this joyful evening.
