Drawing inspiration from Shabbat Shirah
Join us in welcoming the week of Shabbat Shira, Shabbat of Song, with Wellspring, a participatory Havdalah Concert, featuring Interim Cantorial Soloist Molly Bajgot and musical guests Anat HaLevy Hochberg, Batya Levine, Yoni Battat, and Richie Barshay. Like a wellspring, song, music, and communal singing is a place that we can continuously return to to reinvigorate our spirits, to reenergize our senses, and to fortify our hearts for confronting a deeply challenging and broken world. Together, our song leaders will lead us in original compositions designed to ground us, uplift us, and generate joy.
Complientary beverages and light snacks will be available before and after the concert.
This event is open to all and can be attended in person or virtually via Zoom. Everyone is welcome; no one is turned away for lack of funds.
Concert Entry:
Please be ready to show your registration confirmation email, which serves as your ticket. You may show the email/ticket on your phone or as a printout.
Accessibility:
Kerem Shalom is fully wheelchair accessible. There are no single-stall bathrooms in the building; bathrooms are marked as usable for all gender identities. ASL interpreters will be present.
Security:
We will have a police detail for the concert, with officers posted in the parking lot and inside the building. Please do not bring backpacks or large bags if possible.
Merchandise:
Artists will have art and merchandise available for sale after the concert via Venmo, PayPal, cash, and checks.
Parking:
Street Parking
Kerem Shalom’s parking lot has limited space, so if you are able, please consider parking instead on Elm Street (on the opposite side from Kerem Shalom) or on the side streets Nimrod Drive or Coburn Hill Rd. After you pass Kerem Shalom on the right, these two side streets are 0.1 mile and 0.2 mile ahead on the left. If you choose this option, please be especially considerate by ensuring you are not blocking anyone’s driveway. A traffic control officer will be available on Elm St. in front of Kerem Shalom to assist you in crossing the street safely.
Parking Lot
The parking lot will fill up quickly, so please allow extra time if you plan to park here. Please note that there is a one-way traffic pattern in the parking lot. At the entrance, you will be directed to the right. Please exit by driving around the circle at the front of the building and out the long driveway. Handicap spaces are reserved for vehicles with handicap tags. If you do not have a handicap tag but someone in your party has mobility challenges, we ask that you drop them off at the circle in front of the building and then seek parking elsewhere. The driveway leading from the building to the street is a fire lane. Parking on either side may be available (weather dependent), but you will be asked to get all four wheels of your vehicle off the pavement. This is a high-priority safety concern.
