At the Shabbat of Recognition service on May 12, the 2023 Ann Geisinger Scholarships were awarded to Kerem Shalom member and high school senior Rayna Leigh (pictured here) and Concord-Carlisle High School senior Isatu Fofanah.
This scholarship was established more than 20 years ago to honor the memory of Ann Geisinger, a beloved member of Kerem Shalom and an active volunteer in our congregation community and in Concord. The scholarships are intended to support individuals who are planning to pursue a college education and whose high school experiences and intentions reflect the Jewish tradition of Tzedakah and Tikkun Olam, which Ann exemplified in her life.
The scholarships are intended for one high school senior from our Kerem Shalom community and one high school senior from CCHS. If you are a parent of a high schooler, please keep this scholarship in mind and encourage them to apply!
