(In-person and Online)
As we are well into the month of Elul, the tradition is to begin offering selichot prayers (penitential prayers from the high Holy Days) as Rosh Hashanah draws closer and closer.
This Friday night, Kerem Shalom will crack open the mahzor (the prayerbook for the High Holy Days) and add some selichot prayers to our service as we continue the spiritual work of preparing ourselves for the Days of Awe and the New Year. KS member Nancy Kaplan will lead our singing and prayers with me, and we truly look forward to moving together as a community through Elul as we prepare to take on the challenges of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and the New Year. Please join us.
