Kerem Shalom members are invited to donate to a goods collection drive for Household Goods.
We request donations of lamps with shades, towels in all sizes, pots/pans/baking dishes, and blankets in all sizes. Items may be new or used; textiles must be free of rips or stains; and pans should not be scratched.
KS members Tracey Guth and Marty Blue will lead this effort and will be at KS during the collection hours to screen, gather, and load items into vehicles for transport to Household Goods. Volunteers are welcome and can email for more information.
Household Goods, based in Acton, is an independent not-for-profit organization that provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home. Each year, Household Goods furnishes over 2,500 homes with 60,000 pieces of furniture and smaller household items.
