Shabbat Services

Shabbat services for adults and families are held every Friday evening at 7:30PM throughout the school year. During the summer we hold lay-led services on the second and fourth Fridays of the month. We offer a variety of interesting, fun, and stimulating services:

Shabbat Services led by Rabbi Leigh and KS Cantor Roslie Gerut

Traditional Shabbat Services for adults and families are held twice each month and are led by Rabbi Leigh and KS Cantor Rosalie Gerut.(please see our calendar for monthly listings).

Mostly Music Shabbat services led by KS Cantor Rosalie Gerut

Our Mostly Music Shabbat service is held one Friday evening of each month (please see our calendar for current monthly listings). Led by Rosalie Gerut,  the Mostly Music service features the warm and enthusiastic singing (sometimes dancing!) of our congregants, joined by members on piano, violin, guitar, flute, coronet and even the dumbek drum. All ages welcome.

Shabbat services for Families with Young Children- led by Family Educator Nancy Kaplan

5:45PM Fridays once a month. A complimentary holiday- themed dinner for families follows the service every month. Please note that Adult services are held at 7:30 following every Young Children's Shabbat service.

This is our "Tot Shabbat" designed for our youngest members and their families. From babies to toddlers to seven-year olds, Tot Shabbat brings young ones and their parents together for song, stories, and plenty of movement. Led by our Family Educator, Nancy Kaplan, Tot Shabbat is a warm, spiritual experience for little ones and parents alike. Tot Shabbat is held once each month.
