Become a ‘Steward of the Vineyard’
Considering our role as a link in the chain of Jewish continuity is no mundane task. Jewish tradition asserts that this is one of the most significant and powerful questions we can ask ourselves—our purpose in life, the meaning of our lives, and the legacy that we leave to those who will live on after us.
Rabbi Darby Leigh

Since the earliest days of Kerem Shalom, we have been guided by three core values: kehillah (community), simchah (joy), and k’vod ha-b’riyot (respect for the dignity of every person). Over the years, our members have given generously of themselves and of their financial resources. Our culture of giving has allowed us to grow into a well-established Jewish congregation in the Concord area and beyond.
The Legacy Giving program will allow us to continue to expand on those efforts. The effects of such gifts – no matter the form, timing, or size – will be profound and meaningful. Collectively, our generosity will ensure that Kerem Shalom is a vital presence in the Concord area and beyond, and reinforce our position as a leader for progressive Judaism for years to come.
We hope you will consider making Legacy Giving at Kerem Shalom part of your end-of-life planning. By joining others in Kerem Shalom’s Legacy Giving Circle and becoming a “Steward of the Vineyard,” your gift will help us to honor our commitment to future generations.
