We’ll move, snap, tap, clap, sing, snuggle, and dance! We’ll hear a special story for Shavuot. and welcome B’rachah the “Dragosaur” for blessings over juice and challah.

BYO Bear! or another cuddly friend to snuggle with.

Why do we eat dairy foods on Shavuot? One explanation (among many) is to remind us of the study of Torah, which, according to a verse from “Shir HaShirim” (Song of Songs), is like “honey and milk…under your tongue.” The Book of Exodus calls Israel “a land of milk and honey.”

In Eastern Europe, people traditionally decorated their homes and the shul on Shavuot with paper cuts called “Royzelekh,” which means “Roses” in Yiddish. Learn how to make a traditional decorative paper cut for Shavuot HERE!
