Join Kerem Shalom for Shabbat as we celebrate and honor LGBTQ Pride at our Erev Shabbat service on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 7:30 pm.

June is recognized nationwide as LGBTQ Pride month in commemoration of the Stonewall Riots of 1969. As a Jewish community, we celebrate Pride from a deeply held conviction that everyone in our community should be able to be present and live openly as their full, deep, authentic, whole selves. We continue to pray for and work towards a world where everyone can do so and openly love whom they love.

Our featured speaker is our very own Rabbi Sam Pollak, Director of Congregational Learning. We are so excited and fortunate to be able to have the opportunity to learn from Rabbi Sam, who will be drawing from his Torah knowledge and his own experiences as an out, gay, married, rabbi. It is a treat to learn Torah from Rabbi Sam, and this is an opportunity not to be missed! Rabbi Sam will offer a blessing for Pride Month as well and we will all celebrate Shabbat and Pride!
