Shabbat Zimra: A Shabbat of Song

Join Interim Cantorial Soloist Molly Bajgot and a special Kerem Shalom musical team—Nancy Kaplan, George Peabody, John Englander, Nina Englander, and Andrew Kramer—for a Shabbat filled with music. We'll gather in the round to sing contemporary melodies written by Molly, Nancy, and other Jewish songwriters, blending voices and instruments, to celebrate Shabbat. Between the holidays of Passover and Shavuot we journey through the Omer, a period of spiritual reflection on the divine qualities within and around us. On April 10, we’ll be in the second week of the Omer, focusing on the quality of gevurah—strength and resilience. Come nourish your inner resources, your neshama (spirit), and your sense of community as we welcome Shabbat together in song.
