Join Bonnie Stein, the daughter of two Holocaust survivors, for this special Kristallnacht program. Bonnie will share how she became connected with the Florida Holocaust Museum and the Children of Survivors group—and her trip to Berlin, Germany, as part of the organization “One- By-One,” an organization that brings together children of survivors and descendants of the Nazi regime.
This journey proved to be a life-changing event. Bonnie speaks about remembrance (when it’s valuable and when it’s not), what it means to remember in a helpful way, the non-productiveness of blame, and how to move forward even when there are terrible things in our past, as well as terrible things still happening in the world.
Bonnie Stein has been involved in Holocaust Education for 27 years. She was the President of the Board of Generations After at the Florida Holocaust Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida for 12 years. Bonnie is also a founding member of an International Group of Descendants of Holocaust Survivors.
