If you’ve been to any of Rabbi Darby’s Shabbat services, you’ll know that love is one of the central themes of Shabbat. But there’s an extra-special emphasis on love on the Shabbat that begins at sundown on Friday, April 3.

It’s Shabbat Chol HaMoed Pesach, the one that occurs during the intermediate days of Passover. It’s traditional on that day to recite the Song of Songs, a lyrical and profound love poem. But what’s the connection between this beautiful text and Passover?

Please join us on Friday evening for song, prayer, warm community, and an exploration of the parallels between the Exodus and a romantic love story. We’ll all be Sedered out, so it will be short and sweet!
